Dear Guest's,

Welcome to the Clarendon Autumn newsletter and our latest developments. A new season has begun, the autumn trees are beginning to turn a soft gold and the valley is lush with recent rains. The Clarendon family has also changed.

Some of you will be aware that Mel started a new job in Newcastle at the beginning of this month. I have spoken to Mel and she and Tiki are settling in nicely. Mel sends a warm farewell to all of her old friends and hopes to see them on her visits to the farm.

I am excited about my new role here at the Retreat. Having met many of you as a visiting day Spa Therapist, I have now joined the team as Girl Friday, using my accounting training and helping Sharyn with the marketing. As a keen rider, I'll also be helping on the rides .My background is in dressage and show jumping so I'll be happy to help with some riding tips. And ...I have some great ideas for new pampering packages...so read on for our Autumn Specials.

If there is anything I can do to assist for your next stay , please give me a call and I will be delighted to help you plan some special pampering

Bye for now

Leanne for the Clarendon Team

Meet some of the Clarendon Family

Clarendon celebrated its first ever AGM on the first weekend in March.

In the renowned Clarendon spirit, this momentous occasion of having all of the new owners together for the first time could not end as a regular meeting.Sharyn incorporated a social event with champagne, fine dining and excellent company.

Live entertainment was spontaneously supplied by one of our very talented owners with a solo during dessert. Thanks Graham.

Our smiling Mel farewelled her comrades and enjoyed some fun banter and very interesting horsey gifts.

We wish Mel the very best, she will be missed by all of us.

Catch of the Day - at Clarendon

During September 04 we put 11,000 Australian Bass into the large 3 acre lagoon to provide you, our guests of Clarendon, with another fun outdoor activity. Fishing.... The Australian Bass is considered to be quite the sport fish, a real fighting fish for the angler. The first fish was caught on Christmas Day 2005. With many sightings of shimmering ripples across the lagoon during dusk. So....for your next trip to Clarendon don't forget to pack your fishing rod. Just go to the clarendon website here to book
